What goes wrong
An affidavit that invents a house number, or that uses a shop address where nobody lives, is a false statement. Banks and passport officers compare it with a visit or with another card. If you only stay in Siliguri for part of the year, say that. Do not write that you have lived here for ten years if you moved last month.
A landlord's refusal to give a letter does not let you swear that you own the flat.
